How is it March already?

Yesterday wasn’t just the 2/28/25 Economic Blackout, it was also Metamour’s Day

Did you know Metamour's Day was coming up?

A lot of the content creators listed in the recent post Best JustPolyThings on Insta were ready to drop fun content.

That meant I got to have some fun browsing the hashtag #metamourday on Insta while not spending any money.

Scheduling is hard

While I did have Metamour Day, along with Polyamory week, and a few others noted down somewhere at some point, somehow it wasn’t showing up on my calendar.

Last year, I tried to keep up with all the “important" dates, but it was hard, and many of them snuck up on me. This year, I want to do things differently. Study Finds: Polyamorous Scheduling - is actually really hard!

Google calendar to the rescue

So I made a Google calendar.

Just Poly Holidays - Google Calendar

While yes, there has been some scandal recently about Google calendar removing Pride month from their US Holiday calendar, Gcal is a tool that is way too integrated into most polycules to be easily replaced.

If you have a suggestion for an alternative, please do tell us in the comments below.

By making a new Google calendar, I can share it with my polycule. Hide or show it as needed on all of my devices, and copy events to and from it with my other calendars.

Sharing Just Poly Holidays

By sharing it publicly I can get feedback as to what holidays I have overlooked as well make it available for anyone else to view or share it with their polycule. Sharing is caring.

Special Days for Non-Monogamy

I wanted a quick and easy way to remember all of the upcoming days related to consensual non-monogamy, like International Solo Polyamory Day and Non-monogamy Week of Visibility.

So, I started making a list, but I quickly realized I also wanted to add “all the unconventional relationship days”. That's when I started adding other days of visibility, and awareness weeks.

Fun fact: in keeping with anarchist traditions, there is no specific day to celebrate  relationship anarchy!

It was fun to discover that in keeping with anarchist traditions, there is no specific day to celebrate  relationship anarchy. Way to be a relationship philosophy that rejects traditional rules!

Celebrate with Me

You can tell from how sporadic posts are on this site that I’ve not done a great job of making or sticking to a content calendar.

Managing a busy calendar in my personal life is hard enough (again: Study Finds: Polyamorous Scheduling - is actually really hard!), let alone trying to publish content across multiple platforms.

I’m working on it.

Also, We're looking for Blog Contributors & Partners

Please enjoy this calendar as my attempt at improving my ability to schedule interesting stories and posts.
